I am now in Leicester and whow,it's just 3 months and so many things happened.....but I am loving living in UK despite the dramas and under a strict budget. Good company,good foods,good course and of course good uni are some of the things i have right now...cant wait to travel around uk (or probably europe and some middle easts) and getting good grades!

It is hard to describe my feeling right now..I just can't feel the excitement of leaving home for my dream. May be I am not that ready for anything yet.

Exactly 72 hours from now, I will be leaving for UK to continue my study in Aerospace Engineering at University Of Leicester, United Kingdom for 3 years. It is going to be a new life for me...... no more "lapar ma..masakkan untuk aku" after this....no more "farhan, sembayang" at 5.30am .....no more " bah keluar kan baju kan di sasah" after shower.... I guess i will be missing those....Home Sick is the best word to describe that!!!!

Despite all my dramatic assumptions of what would happen to me after tuesday..... I am also looking forward for the "new life".. as many would say, uni life is interesting.... I am not sure how interesting it would be...as from my "research" from fb...uni life is cool.....hewhew....outings with seniors....makan makan....nando's...gym...going to campus walking...and more!

ohh....i gotta go now...someone is texting me on fb!...till then peeps!

exactly a week after the Official end of Bridex 2011. As a part of Bridex 2011, I can surely say it was great,successful event by RBTS and MinDef,eventhough the behind-the-scenes were painstaking.

As for me, Bridex 2011 has given me a lot of lessons,memories and opportunities. I was appointed as an Officer In Attendance (OIA in short) under the supervision of Ministry Of Defence. In brief, OIAs are the ones who escorted,kept track on the activities and made sure the places for the VIPs were right. Depending on lucks, an OIA might get an international delegate(s).....or just the local delegate.

I was assigned by MinDef (in fact, Hamiz alone did this to me) to take care of Rear Admiral A R Karve, the representative of the Chief of Navy of India. As a comparison, Rear Admiral is actually a Brigadier General when we put it into Army rankings. By taking care of him, i had chances to see and go to a lot of events in first class views, for example, I had the chance to go to watch the First City Parade in Brunei Darussalam,I was sitting on the right wing of the royal dias together with 4 OIAs and other international Navies. Apart from that, I also had the chance to go for cocktail parties on ships of India, China, Pakistan, New Zealand and USA's navies. It was such a new,awesome experience to me!.

Friend-wise, who said works bring friends far apart?. In Bridex, works bring friends close apart,as close as siblings,as works brought friends into the same locations as yours. If it is not the case, we would meet at the hotel and had our dinner together and brougt up what we're up to on that day. worst case scenario, we just stayed in a room and had fun by playing games (most of the time,in my room,room 207).

Today, I am looking at Bridex 2011 as my stepping stone to the real,wild world of work. It opens my mind how work would be in the future, how work brings people together and how experience is more worthed than money. I enjoyed every second of my life in Bridex 2011 with all my easy going circle of friends! :)

Bridex Building

just a simple intro to Bridex,it is an international event,organised by Royal Brunei Technical Service (RBTS) along with Ministry Of Defence (MinDef) in every 2 years. Participants of this event will be companies which are dealing with the Military Technologies from all parts of the world. There will be exhibitions as well as conference. Bridex 2011 will be held in early July this year at Bridex Building in Jerudong and it's open for public on certain days and RBTS has started selling the tickets.

For Bridex 2011, I will be participating this event as a Delegates Coordinator under the MinDef. I will be attending the training next week and i anxiously cant wait for it!

Enough said.

it all started from one gigantic event, The Big Bang.... and only by fractions of ONE second, Matters(particles) started to form leading to the formation of the first element ever in the entire Universe,Hydrogen. Another fractions of a second later..Helium and Lithium were born accordingly. All of these ancient yet majestic processes of Nature-manufacturing however is not as simple as it sounds, it is way too complicated to be explained by a freshly graduated A-level student from SMSO.. or even an ordinary Physicist..

*snap*...I am being lunatic here!...okay,back to reality...ah,before everything,there is no proper word than "Hello" or better be"peace be upon you" before I mumbling in here.

right,Holiday has been treating me well this week,there is not so much problem to think about except one dilemmatic case which I prefer not to mention it in here. I'd prefer to discuss it with my friends or expertise in that particular field soon.

When I watched Travel and Living Channel an hour ago,it was Weekend with Samantha Brown (if not mistaken) and she was in Florence,Italy. She spent the whole weekend staying in Tuscany, a classical region in Florence. Classic Italian architectures, rooftop coffee shop with wonderful city scenery,cobble roads,less traffic...ahh. what could be relaxing than that...??and one catchy phrase from her was "the sweetness of doing nothing" when she enjoyed her coffee....

as for now, Tuscany,Florence,Italy is officially on my wishlist!!!.

anyhow,SMSO Academic Award Ceremony will be held tomorrow morning and my name is on the list,though not the top one but still I am grateful for everything as No.11 with 260 tariff points aint that BAD! =D

as for last night, went out for Dinner at Emperor's at Manggis Mall.Treated by Mr.Lim TC....Nice lamb they got!

Salam and hello earthlings!...I am updating my blog now because i have nothing better to do...yes,i am jobless right now. It's like 12.15 am(Brunei time) on 7th March 2011...today is Rusydi's birthday,one of my former classmates and still a bestfriend of mine..

Right,back to my story (yes,i am going to tell you what i am up to!)......2011 is a new chapter of my life. It is hard to imagine where I am right now, because 2 years back, on this day, I was very busy with my school life. In 2009,I went through the orientation for the fresh Sixth Former and exactly a year after that,I became one of the furious committees who ran the Orientation for our Juniors...as for today,it's the opposite extreme...I just stay at home,facing the laptop's screen and spend my time Facebooking and checking emails every hour...wonderful life it is...!

Speaking of which, I am not going to school anymore,i've been having my Holidays for 4 months now because I am done with my A-levels!!!..A BIG,BIG,BIG DONE FOR A-LAVELS!!!All praise to The Lord!...I am grateful that I ended my A-levels quite well..though it was a PAIN-IN-THE-ARSE!.....

I can say A-level years bring a lot of memories and experiences for me,sweet and bitter ones,ofcourse!.One of them was being a student who was given an honour to wear a Red-neck tie instead of Black one. From there, I met 5 great friends to be with...Razi,Bob,Danial,Hadi,Izzat...i talked to them a lot,we shared about a lot of things,and the coolest thing of all was we against people who made decision obtusely!

Apart from that, I went to almost all the form Sixth centres in Brunei for some talks and roadshows. MD,Maktab Sains,PTEM and PTEK,all were visited.

urrrmmmm...i guess i end my story here...will continue it when i am jobless....good night earthlings! =DD

it was a school day when i took this shot.it was early at 6,well,i guess it was not that early for some people because i know most people have already got their showers or at least on their feet to do something..for me 6am on the schooldays was only the near ending part of my dream..and could be the best part..

anyway...this was my first attempt in doing "sunrays blocked by clouds"shot...i havent got the geographical term yet but im pretty sure i can find it soon...

this picture i think is also related to 2 terms in physics which are called diffraction and superposition..i guess this is the large scale of them working together to make a perfect scenery in the early schoolday morning!!..this is just my thinking..i dont know whether it is the correct explanation for it or not... =D

Well..I took this photo long long time ago..But then..It was transferred to danial popey's pink vaio laptop when he was transferring all the images of b@ktif from my super baby d90 and saved it nicely for decades..

okay,back to this image..i shot this when i was in our big,hot physics lab on the 3rd floor of SMSO(as the background of this image clearly shows you we were one level higher than the admin block) ,listening a lecture about POLARIZING(i think,we were tn the end of chapter 15 of A-level Physics Syllabus at that time..ahahaha!!!).. i think,mr.chu still dont know i was silhouetting him and asma when he was explaining (and showing) about this polarizing stuffs and i hope he won’t be mad at me....

for me, this picture is an important step to know more about photography because Polarization is one of the helping components in making great shots especially landscape and urban photography.

oryt world!!!...i know it has been a while since i didnt update my blog bcause i didnt have internet access last week...y'know...serious landslide occured around the "main Entrance" of Kampong Penanjong which cut All(i think) the phone lines in that area..

here is the summary of what happened last week(s)...31st jan..i went to SMSO to get my certificates and to check the break down of my results...i cant believe i scored A1 in all my As,B3 in maths,Biology and Add.math...B4 in BM and C5 in English.....which gives aggregate 12 if u add all the best 6 subjects...this means,i still have the oppurtunity for a scholarship..

On Monday,went to SMSO again to apply the "Passport-To-Form 6" and Made noises there...u know...went hyper when buddies were around(lama inda jumpa kawan)...

then...sent the Passport's Form back on Wednesday....thats about it...

oh oh...forgot to mention...SMSO got Fresh Teachers from UBD...including Cigu Dasya Faridah who will be teaching BM...and moree.... teacher DK Hartini already got her table back in SMSO after leaving school to persue her Master Degree..

i just browsed my friendster's shots..and i found all of these picts...they were taken in year 2006 and 2007,mostly...and one of them is the last year's..year 2006 and year 2007 were the years by which i cant resist taking potrait of myself whenever i saw a camera...taken by using handphone's camera,with no knowledge about photography (even editing doesnt attract me at all)....i managed to have some "bad-composition" photos but im gratefull that i can recall back the past from these...

past is the past future will be tomorrow and beyond..

hallo world!!..i think have been in a "silent mode" for quite a while..here i am..first of all....boredom is killing me now..yeah no doubt,as predicted...frankly speaking,i always wake up at about 1pm every single day and sleep at 3am every single night except last night..more worst...weather keeps on changing...everytime i woke up,it was shiny..but then..after a while it was cloudy...then..when comes to my "play-time" at 5..it was about to rain with wind and thunders....nothing can be done though except staying in home!!...

secondly...i already got a HDR generating program...*yeah*..and...did some bracketing shots previous days ago...so yeah...i've just explored a lil of that program and still learning it...

and lastly...to all my classmates...please be informed that shakirah is organising another gathering which will be held on january 20th,tueasday,at WYWY tutong at around 2 till 4.30pm....please confirm to shakirah wether you will join the gathering or not and take note that,this event can only be carried out if at least 15 of you can join her or else this plan will be canceled..thank you! I just want to tell u all that i have no idea what i am going to post...i dont have any outing lately so no picts to be uploaded...but but...i got potraits shots from my previous events but i have no gut to upload them in here...(kna sue ku krg)....

alhamdulilah today's meeting can be said as lil sucess...rabee,muiz,bibah,nazurah,lyiana,amal were there with me..ehehe...too bad that nazurah,lyiana and amal went back home early...and and...teo was also there....but...he went there with his family and in fact...he didnt know that we were having our "reunion"...aiiyoo!!.....anyway...we watched Twilight(i know batah udah)....and rabee watched it for the second time(bnar nya inda ia meliat tuu,ia lyt lain)...ahahahhaah...as a suprise for sharkirah...danial and ejat also joined us...danial had alerady planned this like 2 days ago!!!...ehehe...sorry shark....

hallo peeps..okay..since there are numbers of people who are waiting for my update on yesterday's event right now and so here i am!!!..ahaha...

yesterday,to be exact midday,zye told me that there would be an outing in the evening with icha,kupil and Jekizan..so then,i told Azam about that and he would come if i come and we agreed to make his present as a suprise for zye...eheheh..story comes short..as Azam and I reached the Pondok where they are resting...there were actually more than dozen of seniors there...ahahaha...i thought only the 3 of them will come...adehh!!...and another suprise....Nadia was also there!!....ahahah....yesterday outing was suppose to be "sunset view" but then,sun didnt appear...so peeps...here are what i get...

went to Busiido yesterday,a "dojo" or training centre for martial arts such as Karate,Muay Thai(kick Boxing),Silat and Teakwon-Do own by a one of the Brunei Shito-Ryu Sensei.There was an event which i dont know what is it for..What i heard is that..the event's profits will be donated to the Orphan..There were Shows from Karate Students and Muay Thai students,Games and Garage sales...

after the shows..i went into the Hall to see what is it like...I like the place much that i wish to have it when i have my own CASTLE or when my dad renovete our HOME SWEET HOME one day!!..ahahaha...we spent most of our time in there...doing sparring,striking punching bags and did Katas....

i adore this SHOT!!..someone please SHOOT me like this one day!!!
and then..after a quite long time in the Hall.. a SHOTOKAN SENSEI came in..he is a Silver Medalist in the WORLD KARATE CHAMPIONSHIP a time ago and a Gold Medalist in a quite number of other CHAMPIONSHIPS....he unexpectedly tought us more about karate and gave us a bunch of tips for Kumite!!...u know..he even volunteer to teach us in our Dojo!!..and accepted my ridicolous request to teach me how to play with Weapons!!..ahaha..thats cool!!

practice makes perfect....i know this is just only a simple technique in photography...i cant proceed further if i dont know the basic...

i just remember a last year's quote that was frequently said by one of my subject teacher...

"this is only basic 'name of the subject' "...

so,in this case..it should be...THIS IS ONLY BASIC PHOTOGRAPHY!!!..ahahaha....i bet my classmates can recall the quote...ahahaha

Monday,went to The Mall at gadong(i think everyone knows that) to meet my fellow classmates...unluckily,just a few of us,i mean only 4 of us out of 22,managed to come since everyone didnt have transport to send them there..so yea..just four of us...we planned to watch a movie yesterday but then...most of the seats were sold and the next show will be a long time to wait!!..then..we just spent our time by having a good time of walking around the Mall,played in the archade,chill at Swensen,enjoyed taking pictures at the Rizqun Swimming Pool,then walking around the Mall again and then chill at DQ...then went back..simple ryt??...eheh....

for about a month didnt see three of them,i think everyone has something new with them.at least a thing.....lemme see...fathin got a new mobile phone,sharkirah started to wear tudong...and daus got a job....forFaizan,he starts to keep beards and moustache...i havent seen him for about a year.....

anyway..we bumped onto quite number of people...such as..cg Saiful,Alai Kogawa,Faizan,Zyemah,Cg Najib,some SMSOnian juniors,Aqwa Abas,Qawi,wafiy,Yanti....and a lot more!!...

just to have a practice on sport photography..so,i took my opportunity yesterday to take some shots in my karate lesson....we had our lesson in the Squash Court and it was in a sunny hot evening...i got blisters on my feet and they are killing me right now!!..anyway..i enjoyed yesterday's lesson as most of us were there!!!...fadhil, li, nabilah,aaron and the geng as well as fadli and the geng were also there...moreover..our senior-belt,chinese kid,Tan....also attended the class...overall...yesterday's class was great!!!...
